9 Dec 2007 - Mossy Glade

Large amounts of bramble were removed from mossy glade on this task. The bramble was removed in sections with areas of bramble left, in order to protect the different mosses growing in this area. Some trees were also removed to bring in more light to the glade.  Also a  Harts Tongue fern (Asplenium Scolopendrium) and a large sedge were found in the area during the task day.
